I have been sharing this sauce with friends for a few years now and the first reaction anyone ever has to the Waha Wera Kiwifruit and Habanero Sauce is a perplexed look followed by "Kiwifruit hot sauce",Ā they then go into the tasting with a bit of scepticism.
If you are reading this with the same amount of scepticism then you need to get over it! This sauce is not what you could expect or imagine. The kiwifruit gives this sauce a really fresh and unique fruity flavour, there isĀ a little bit ofĀ sweetness,Ā and also anĀ even, and lingering, heat thanks to theĀ habanero.
