Hot Chilli Choclate

Makes 3 cups
Prep time 5minutes
Cooking time 8 minutes  

3 cups of your favourite milk (cows, almond, or oat)

½ cup /100g dark chocolate

2 Tbsp brown sugar or honey to taste

1 cinnamon stick

Fine grating of fresh nutmeg (optional)

1-2 tsp of Sabarac Fermented hot chocolate sauce

Marshmallows to serve

  1.  Combine milk, chocolate, sugar, cinnamon stick, and a fine grating of nutmeg.

  2. Bring milk to a slow simmer over medium high heat, whisk to combine and melt chocolate.

  3. Allow to heat through for 6-8 minutes.

  4. Stir through Fermented hot chocolate sauce.

  5. Serve with marshmallows.

    TIP: This sauce is very hot, add Sabarac to taste, try 1 tsp and adjust to your heat level.
