Fiery Buffalo Chicken Wings

This buffalo wing recipe will have you trying to decide whether to lick your fingers or quench the burn, either way you win. Anything for the hot sauce!

Ingredients

1 kg chicken wings or winglets

1 cup tomato sauce or tomato puree

4 tbsps Hot Sauce or Wing Sauce

2 cloves garlic, chopped

1 tbsps grated fresh ginger

2 green shallots, finely chopped

2 tbsps honey

Lemon wedges to serve

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan forced. Line a baking dish with baking paper.
  2. Combine chicken wings with tomato sauce, hot sauce, garlic, ginger, green shallots and honey. Toss to combine and coat. Place into the baking dish in a single layer.
  3. Cook for 40-45 minutes till golden and cooked through. Turning once during cooking.
  4. Serve with lemon wedges .

You can use any sauce you like for this sauce...this recipe is for any and every hot sauce
