The Mofo Hot Sauce Miso Sriracha is a very different style of sriracha sauce. I love the soy miso addition, it just gives the hot sauce a distinctly Japanese twist and there are small pieces of ginger and garlic that add another layer of texture and depth to this sauce. The even better thing is that the garlic and ginger do not overpower the same way that they do in some of the more supermarket style sriracha, the flavour of the chilli and the miso get to shine through.
Serranos are milder style of chilli so you get a milder style of sauce, but I use this as a dipping sauce for dumplings and spring rolls (I even snuck it into Yum Cha once) and also is a great addition to broth-style Asian soups.
