Uncle Mungo's Top Shelf 200ml

Uncle Mungo's Top Shelf is a pear-based savoury hot sauce made with 4 different chillies including Carolina Reapers, habanero, ghost chilli and birds eye with a few of Uncle Mungo's secret spices thrown in.

Being a pear-based hot sauce, you would expect it to be a sweeter style sauce, but Top Shelf is anything but. It is a well-balanced, savoury hot sauce with the perfect combination of sweet and acidity complemented by garlic, onion and savoury spices. The inclusion of 4 different kinds of chilli means you get a heat that spreads right across your mouth from the tip of your tongue, to the roof of your mouth and then to the back of your throat; and it's a slow, progressive build so you'll remember this sauce long after you've finished eating.

This sauce would be a good addition to the tomato sauce you put at the base of your pizza or thrown on top of the pizza for that matter. Also, would complement your favourite stir-fry.
