Gods of Sauces Korean Passionfruit Hot Sauce is bursting with the freshness of passionfruit and that distinctive Korean gochujang chilli flavour.
Passionfruit is definitely the hero in this hot sauce you get a strong upfront hit both in the aroma and the taste. This is combined perfectly with the gochujang and sesame to give it that Korean twist all nicely balanced with sugar, vinegar and ginger. Gochujang, savoury, sweet fermented chilli paste used in Korean cooking, is combined with the Manzano chilli to add heat as well as a depth of flavour. The texture of this sauce is also really interesting with sesame oil giving the sauce its thick, creamy texture and the passionfruit seeds providing tiny crunchy pops.
This makes the best dipping sauce for fresh prawns and is also ideal as a salad dressing in your favourite Asian noodle salad
