This is balanced with a complexity and sweetness of the dried onion and date syrup marrying perfectly with the fruitier flavours of both habanero and Carolina Reaper. The addition of Sichuan Pepper to this sauce is a master stroke providing both a peppery finish as well as that characteristic numbness on the lips and tip of the tongue....that's maybe why the chilli heat dives straight to the back of your throat..

Dried chilli pepper, fermented black bean, garlic, sesame oil, salt, shallots, mushroom powder, ginger, seaweed, Sichuan pepper, and authentic Chinese spices are all taken to another level with the addition of locally sourced super hot Chinese chillies known as the King of Kings Chilli. Sichuan Chilli peppers contribute a buzzing heat while fermented black beans provide a punch of umami that goes with pretty much anything.

Sabarac Japanese Miso Fermented Hot Sauce - QLD

This fermented hot sauce has a very distinctive Japanese flavour with daikon, rice wine vinegar and mirin and all of this is further enhanced by the red fava bean Miso which is locally sourced. The heat from the birdseye chilli is upfront and intense and you even get to crunch on the chilli seeds.

Salt Gang Sichuan Mala Salt - SA

If you've never experience Mala before then get ready, this will tick that box. Mala is the lip and tongue numbing, and slightly addictive, tingle you get from Sichuan peppers and this Mala Salt delivers hands down! The distinctive flavour and feel of the Sichuan pepper is mellowed with the sweetness from locally sourced dehydrated citrus which perfectly complements Mala. For a product described as a salt this blend is not overly salty and the team at Salt Gang have deliberately designed it this way, so that you can be liberal with the flavour and not over-salt your food. The salt used in the blend is also locally sourced in South Australia from Ollson's.
