Fiery Lamb Skewers

Easy to prepare lamb skewers, oozing with flavour that are infused with your
favourite hot sauce

Ingredients

500g trimmed Lamb rump steaks cut into 5 cm pieces

1-2 Tbsps Hot Sauce

1 red capsicum, cut into 5 cm pieces

1 onion, cut into 5 cm pieces

½ fresh pineapple, peeled, cut into chunks

8 skewers, soaked in water for 10 minutes

Pita bread, chargrilled to serve

METHOD

  1. Place lamb pieces into a bowl with your favourite hot sauce. Stir to coat.
  2. Thread lamb and vegetables alternatively onto skewers.
  3. Heat a chargrill pan or BBQ to high heat .
  4. Cook skewers for 12-15minutes, turning to cook till charred and tender.
  5. Cook pita bread for 2-3 minutes each side till charred and crisp.
  6. Serve skewers with pita bread, salad leaves, hummus and lime wedges.

We used 13 Angry Scorpions Grim Hot Sauce but anything with either a bbq or smoked flavour and/or brown sugar or molasses will work perfectly
