Basketcase Gourmet Chilli Caramel Glaze is liquid gold...sticky, golden and fragrant with a faint burst of heat and very versatile.
Designed to coat and smother, this golden sauce oozes out of the bottle like liquid gold, it is deliciously sweet with a hint of Asian flavour, thanks to the rice wine vinegar and fish sauce, and this is all rounded off with a spicy chilli finish. You will be coming back to this again and again as it is so versatile and can be used as a glaze, dressing or dipping sauce.
Use this sauce as a glaze for pork belly or chicken wings, just coat the meat with the glaze in the final 15 minutes of baking. You can even use this straight up as a dipping sauce for your favourite Asian fried dumplings or spring rolls
