Tasting Note

The sauce is not too thick, nor too runny and the fruity flavour of the chilli shines through with the combined sweetness of carrot and zing of vinegar. The Datil Pepper is native to the US and is from the St Augustine Region of Florida. It is often compared to a habanero, but it has a fruitier flavour with a little bit more sweetness. It also has a distinctive long, slow burn that has been used to its full effect in this hot sauce even more so as it has been paired with black pepper which intensifies the overall chilli burn for one last final hit. - Rodney@ChilliBOM
