Sabarac Fermented Shichi-Mi Togarashi Spice Blend is a classic 7 spice Japanese blend made and is the ultimate in upcycling.
The team at Sabarac are striving to be zero waste in all they do and the creation of this spice blend is one of the outputs. Featuring powders from their tasty hot sauces as well as dehydrated limes from the fermentation process. The Japanese miso chilli powder gives this spice blend a distinctive earthy flavour and is paired perfectly with the unique flavour of sesame seeds and a hint go lime.
A delicious edition to any modern Japanese cuisine but is also fabulous as a salad-, soup- or noddle-topper. But give it a go sprinkled over pork or chicken and then then barbecued. It also pairs really well with the other Japanese inspired sauces in the Sabarac range - Japanese Miso and Karamiso
