This classic style American hot sauce is the style of hot sauces I grew up with and they hold a very special place in my heart...and my stomach! There are 2 things I like most about these style of hot sauces, the first is the unmissable salt/vinegar zing which puckers the mouth and opens up the taste buds to heighten the chilli heat and the second is the simplicity of the ingredients: chilli, vinegar and salt! There are three chillies featured in this hot sauce that all play a very different role to give you an all-over mouth burn; jalapeno has that upfront heat and pepper flavour, the habanero heat hits at the back of the throat to provide a lingering burn and the chipotle (aka smoked jalapeno) gives you the subtle smokey finish.
