A distinctive Australian twist on a classic Mexican salsa verde. Jalapeño is the main ingredient in this sauce and it brings that earthy capsicum flavour as well as a mild peppery burn right through your mouth. This is balanced out by the Tomatillo which provides some tartness as well as giving the sauce its thicker consistency. All rounded out with the zestiness of lime, freshness of coriander, garlic and a twist of cumin. The tomatillo also makes this hot sauce perfect to use as a marinade, especially for white meat and fish.
A great addition to tacos, burritos, enchiladas, ceviche & salad and can also be for marinades, dressings, guacamole, vinaigrette or salsa. Perfect on scrambled eggs as well.
