This is a smooth, creamy wing sauce with a rich buttery aroma. There is the initial sweetness of tomato and onion and a mild lemon tang. The buttery finish and texture comes from vegetable oil, which has been perfectly blended with the other ingredients to deliver a glistening, smooth finish to the sauce. Tom from Uncle Mungo's is super proud at the heat level of this hot sauce, it packs a serious punch, with both chillies attacking your whole mouth and lips. Make sure you work your way up to this one as it does build up over time.
This hot sauce makes for a perfect chicken wing (or cauliflower bites) challenge - you can add it to the last 15 minutes of baking or drizzle just before serving...or if you are game you could do both! This sauce also works really nicely on your fish and chips.
