THE LEGEND'S EDITION
This all-Australian edition is dedicated to some legends in the industry and also some legendary hot sauces! Melbourne Hot Sauces was established in 2013 and as the name suggests, is based in Melbourne! Cobra Chilli is a now a new neighbour based here on the Gold Coast and was also established in 2013. Both Melbourne Hot Sauce and Cobra Chilli are Red Box alumni, featuring in the very first box in 2016, and the hot sauces we've included this time around are some of the very first flavours they ever made. Uncle Mungo's started in 2019 in Dandenong Victoria and, while it's a relative newcomer, has made a big impact to the hot sauce community, the featured Wing Sauce is designed to challenge any die hard hot sauce fanatic! Long live the legends. Also fair warning, I was recovering from COVID when I wrote these notes so my sense of smell and taste was not completely recovered...so if you have any adjustments/feedback please let me know as I could be way off the mark!

The upfront tangy flavour bomb is courtesy of the fresh tomatoes and it is perfectly partnered with habanero to deliver a fruity finish to the sauce. The third hero ingredient, fresh garlic, gives this hot sauce it distinctive flavour ...[Read The full Review]
Melbourne Hot Sauce Habanero Mango (Melbourne, VIC)
Chilli: Habanero

This hot sauce starts with that vibrant orange/red colour and that an unmissable tropical smell. The natural citrus flavour of habanero always combines so well with tropical mango, this is why they are paired together so often, and Richard has taken advantage of this with more than three-quarters the sauce made up of just these two ingredients. The...[Read The full Review]
