Bondi Heat Carolina Reaper Chilli in cold pressed Olive Oil
Mishka created Bondi Heat in 2018 and uses Ultra-premium cold pressed virgin olive oil from South Australia’s Limestone Coast and combines it with sun-dried Carolina Reaper chillies and crushed Australian garlic. This oil has a vibrant burnt red colour and is swimming in pieces of chilli which, like a lava lamp, is mesmerising to watch. You can smell the depth and richness of flavour that comes from the sun-dried reapers and the heat is not obvious but is buried deep within the oil and slowly makes itself known.
This infused oil would make a great addition to your favourite aioli recipe, using it on a tray of veggies before you bake them, for dipping with some crusty bread or, my favourite, drizzled on a bowl of spaghetti bolognese just before you eat it.
