Despite its name of "Scorching habanero" the ghost peppers that are also included in this hot sauce play an equally important role in the creation of this classic style sauce. The sauce starts with a nice fresh lively aroma, and then you are hit immediately with the carrots, that make up the base of this sauce, followed by the citrus flavours of orange and lemon. You then taste the fruitiness of the habaneros, balanced perfectly with the earthiness of the Ghost Peppers coming through. The chillies also work well together from a heat perspective, with the ghost pepper attacking the sides of your tongue and the habanero working its way to the back of your throat!
A super versatile hot sauce that can be added everywhere, but give it a try on some barbecued chicken skewers or beef hamburgers.
