Robert was born in Africa to Lebanese parents and the distinct flavours of this region have truly inspired this sauce. The tartness of the pomegranate is cleverly blended with the rich flavour of capsicum, fruitiness of habanero, sweetness of molasses along with the earthiness of pimento and cinnamon, and you are instantly transported to your favourite Lebanese restaurant. Habanero chilli rounds out this sauce with its comfy lingering burn.
An amazing addition to your barbecued lamb or beef. My favourite is to use on a Mezze plate alongside some hummus, baba ghanoush, toasted pita, fetta and olives.
