Ernie and Maria started a food truck business in 2014 selling jerk chicken, and they created this hot sauce to cater for the growing number of customers who wanted their jerk chicken experience to be a bit more on the spicy side! Sparky's Fiyahcracker was born, a Caribbean, fruity, pepper bomb! This, hands down, is the best example I've seen of the true fruitiness and versatility of the habanero, the chilli alone accounts for the sauce’s fruitiness and blended with the molasses, it almost has you believing that there are dates in the sauce. The molasses marries perfectly with the chilli to deliver a fruity, rich, dare I say, almost smoky flavour. This sauce also has a traditional Caribbean spice blend which includes an good dose of pepper, this heat combined with the habanero delivers a unique heat experience to the middle of the mouth and tongue.
Made for jerk chicken or other Caribbean style dishes. Great on grilled seafood, especially octopus and great to spice up grilled vegetables. You can also use this as a marinade for any white meat before baking or barbecuing.
