It is a chunky salsa style sauce with visible ingredients that you can feel in your mouth which only adds to its appeal. This hot sauce gets it uniqueness from the addition of the native Tasmanian “Diemen” Pepper that is fruiter in flavour and is five times stronger than normal black pepper. You can see the ground pepper in the sauce and straight away you can smell the combination of chilli and vinegar that promises a certain zing more like a Louisiana style hot sauce. You get an initial upfront heat that does fade quickly but the heat will build the more you eat.
