ChilliBOM Volcanic Salt made with Hot Sauce
This fiery chilli salt is perfect as a garnish for any of your favourite dishes – but is absolutely fabulous on fresh oysters with a dash of lime, eggs any way you like them and it was perfect to line the rims of our cocktail glasses when we recently whipped up the classic hot sauce cocktail Michelada.

Could you be sitting on a World Record and not even know it?
While there is a whole range of pepper and chilli related records listed on the Officially Amazing Guinness World Records website, there is no current record holder for the LARGEST COLLECTION of HOT SAUCE. Maybe you could submit your collection?

[REVIEW] Melbourne Hot Sauce Habanero Roja
This sauce was partly responsible for the start of ChilliBOM. Along with 5 other hot sauces I tried in Chur Burger Surry Hills, MHS Habanero Roja helped light the spark that is ChilliBOM and I have never looked back. So it was definitely going to be front and centre in the debut box.

I discovered this sauce in a little café in Richmond, Victoria where I had arrived for breakfast. The Diemen's Original and Diemen's Stinger Sauces were sitting on every table and there was no way they were not going to be slathered all over my omelette.

With 7 days to go to first delivery there is one important thing missing
So we are just 7 days away from the delivery of the very first ChilliBOM hot sauces box, stress levels have been high, but I have been very pleased with myself on how planned I have been. Lining up deliveries of the first 3 hot sauces (which are all awesome, by the way) as well as the various bit and pieces that are going into the boxes…but there is one thing still missing…the box itself.

Let me tell you about my first time…I was 8
Yes, that’s right I ate my first chilli when I was 8 and I credit, or blame, depending on your point of view, my Grandfather and my Uncles.
My grandparents lived in suburban Hurstville in Sydney and my grandfather maintained a large home vegetable garden in his backyard supplying vegetables to the extended family. He mainly grew pumpkin and potatoes but he also had figs, zucchini, peas, mint, parsley, broad beans, eggplant and hiding by itself in the top corner was a chilli plant.
